Is-sinjal għal FIREX IL-MEJDA għandha erba’ partijiet imma tnejn minnhom magħfusin f’xulxin qishom parti waħda. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MEJDA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 u jimxu bil-pala tħares ’l isfel minn fejn xulxin fin-nofs lejn il-ġnub imbagħad iduru biex il-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb u jinżlu ’l isfel. (ii) L-idejn jinbidlu fil-forma ta’ L ikkurvata u jitbiegħdu minn xulxin biex jiffurmaw ċirku kbir għas-sinjal ta’ PLATT. (iii) Fil-pront id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ U u tolqot l-id l-oħra li tieħu l-forma ta’ fuq il-pala li tħares djagonalment ’il fuq. (iv) Fl-aħħar, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u jimxu min-nofs għall-ġnub.
The sign for LAY THE TABLE is made up of four parts though 2 parts seem compressed enough to count as one. (i) First the sign for TABLE is made. The hands take the shape of 5 in the middle and move with palms facing downwards away from each other towards the sides and then turn so that the palms face each other as the hands move down. (ii) The hands change to the shape of curved L and move away from each other to form a large circle for the sign for PLATE. (iii) Immediately, one hand takes the shape for U and hits the other hand in the shape of 5 on the palm which faces diagonally upwards. (iv) Finally, the hands take the shape for 5 with fingers apart and with palms facing downwards and move from the middle to the sides.
